Hanukkah is a Jewish festival commemorating the recovery of Jerusalem and the rededication of the Second Temple. It is also known as the Festival of Lights. Many Jewish families celebrate by lighting a candle each night, playing dreidel games, eating traditional foods and exchanging small gifts.
